This image was made in Priory Church of St Bartholomew the Great in London. According to the rector, it was in the courtyard of this church that Scottish rebel William Wallace was put to death by flaying.
All natural light with a touch of bounce fill. The hardest part of this whole thing was getting the lovely model up there in heels and explaining to an eastern European girl just who William Wallace was and why she needed to look sad.
I'd like to see the face a bit sharper. Possibly a smidge more saturation might look nice, but since you're going for the sad look, I guess desaturated is fine.
