This is a new photo of my 16, almost 17 year old daughter. She actually asked for a new head shot today (for social media of course) - which NEVER happens, so I couldn't possibly say no.
This is natural light and my 5Diii + 85L.
Adding one more - love this one!
Here it is in black & white, because I can't decide! What do you think?
That's the truth! lol I do think she likes the end result though. I'm still in shock she actually ASKED me to take pictures of her. She usually runs and hides when I mention pictures....
I have a couple of questions about your set up in the garage.
1)What is the height of the opening of light that you are allowing in the garage?
2) Did you use the black cloth across the bottom door opening this time?
3) Did you use a back drop or is the background painted on the wall or photoshop?
One day, you should put together an album of just the shots of her over the years, and give to her. When she sees the whole series, and how many incredible shots there are of her, she'll appreciate it even more than she already does.

Thank you so much everyone!
It's a standard double garage door, so I open it and block off about half, maybe more of the bottom with black cloth. I always use black cloth when doing portraits in the garage, otherwise the light is too low and people start getting that yucky uplit look. The backdrop is just a tan seamless paper, I added a light texture over it in Photoshop.
