That's a beautiful capture. I love the processing. It's perfect for the pose and lighting. Even better there was such a great story to go along with it. I'm sure that photo represents a turning point for that young lady. She'll likely remember it that way for the rest of her life. Powerful stuff.

Wow, great composition, lighting. Definitely reminds me of Vermeer painting and Dutch school paintings.

Perfectly right. The portrait looks very simple, humble, very soft, talks to me, is very sensitive, highlights the character of the girl. Colors are beautifull. One of the best portraits ever seen on the net. Bravo!
