p.1 #1 · Let It Snow !!!

Waiting for snow or snowies at least.

Here's some new ones from 2 years ago. That winter, I had two very cooperative snowies for several months on a local onion farm. All shots were from a vehicle blind, kirk window mount/ ball head. No bait or calls were used.

We had a snowy near VOA Park north of Cincinnati. I did not see it but I learned it was hit by a car on I75 which is not far away.

I read that on Facebook in the Birding Ohio group.

I'm jealous there's one in Cleveland Ohio it was WAY too far out for my reach.

Awesome snowy set Herb. I hope they do return for you this year.

Here are the e-bird maps from Nov-Dec of 2013 vs 2015.... as we can see they were much more concentrated in your area in 2013.

That's true Tim, it's been much warmer than usual this time of year. I'm hoping that will change soon for owl season.
