A pre sunrise image out at iconic Dead Horse Point this morning. The sky gave us a nice colorful show for around 10 minutes before settling into mediocrity. Residual snow everywhere from a huge dump on Monday or Tuesday. I had the opportunity to meet and shoot with long time FM member Barry Hamilton today. A super nice guy! So where better than an iconic spot like this. And, we had it totally to ourselves, not a sound anywhere.
Sweet shot Craig - though I did find myself having to 'stare' to find details in the centre and left, my eye being a little distracted with the brighter foreground.
This is a nice image, Craig. The colors are great and there are a lot of details to take in. I think the foreground adds to the image. Makes me feel like I'm standing right there.
Looks like a great spot to just sit and be alone with your thoughts. The snow really gives a nice change to the landscape. You did a wonderful job of capturing the sky's color and how it enhances the rocks natural color. Thanks for posting this.
