Beautiful set! Tones and colors are very attractive even if it weren't for the special subject. That white sand almost looks like snow.
Thank you for the visit and the comments Photo Scout. It does look like snow, may be dirty snow

Beautiful birds, Socrate. With that combo and the nice detail, sharpness of the birds, it is a great tool. Love the poses, and cuteness of your birds, Socrate. Great work.

Thanks you Tam. I also used the Sigma150-600 C on the 7D II, however the 100-400 II gave me better IQ>

Beautiful bird, and beautiful images! While it is hard to pick a favorite, images 7 and 8 standout a bit to me. But they are all beautiful. Great work on these.

Thank you for your comments, Keith.

These are standouts Socrate. The low perspective, detail, color, and nice BG's add up to make these really, "stand out," as first rate images.
I appreciate your comments Robert. Thank you!

Well done Socrate. The first and the last 3 are my picks. Lying down the way you did is frequently the best way to get close to small shore birds as they will approach you once they get used to your being there.
Morris
Thank you Morris. Yeah I always approach shore birds that way. The only problem is getting some sand in your camera. This time I found myself right in the middle of the colony surrounded by birds w/o realizing it. As soon as I got up to leave they all run away

Beautiful Socrate...the new fashion must be to wear your bracelets high up on the leg...part of the problem is actually knowing what these are and that they are rare...a skill unto its own!
Eric
Thanks Eric. I saw a couple of birds wearing 3 or 4 bands.

You got me on this one Socrate! I was betting Egret Stunners my friend, especially the shots in the "snow". You captured such character and your trademark faultless specs make these pure eye candy. Wow what a set
Tim
That would have been too easy Thanks for your kind words, Tim

Fantastic set of these rare plovers Socrate. Do the color bands designate areas ? I did not see any numbers or letters for id'ing individuals. TFS
Thank you Herb. I don't believe color bands designate an area. Probably a project. Some birds had 3 or 4 band either of different colors or the same one. Not sure.

You have my vote

Thank you Karl. Even though the light was a bit harsh it allowed me to take full control of the camera.
Yes Pensacola Beach advertises itself as: "The whitest sand in the world". It feels like powder sugar
