Nice shots, but it ain't your pond. I bet on most occasions there were more photographers than eagles there, which is all the more reason you should be happy that you got some stellar shots.

Outstanding set Tedster to many to pick a fav. from but #7 stands out I also love the double juvi pick up . Now you say no blind but what about that chain link fence

Looks like you had some great opportunities over the past few months Ted. I enjoyed viewing them all. The perfectly mirrored sets near the beginning were my favourites.

You say 'usual' I say splendidly unusual poses

I will admit, I do get tired of looking at Eagle pictures at some point UT, but at this point I can't wait to see more like these from you! You seem to have captured more of the 'unique' than the norm here and the processing truly looks wonderful

Lots of likes but special likes are 7,19,20,29 and super #36!

John: Correction is, it is "my pond." A history lesson is needed. I have been photographing bald eagles at the same site since 2007. Along the way, I coined the phrase "my pond", "the pond" on Fred Miranda when I posted my first bald eagle shots.

In those days back to 2012, there were far many more eagles than photographers or on-lookers. The same is not true today.

Am I fortunate for the images I captured and posted in this thread, yes I am but, I put in many more hours this year than any previous year and I had to get there 1 to 1 1/2 hours earlier just to get a good shooting spot.
