These guys are very social and a lot of fun to watch as they go about doing what they do. We watched them at length various times over a few day period. Here are some of my favorites.
Love 'em....love 'em....the first reminded me of a few people at my son's wedding this past weekend...just without all the makeup They really remind me of meerkats but are probably less approachable...I guess they also have to be aware of predators from above as well as things like coyotes and other land based carnivores.

That first one is a'Bomb!
I have photographed prairie dogs many times, but this behavior is among the most difficult to capture as it is very unpredictable. The fact that you were able to catch two at one time speaks volumes about your ability to catch the peak moment of action.
