Photographing ducks in-flight is very excited. However, seeing the coot flying is even
rare.

I was so happy to see them flying a lot last few days with the help of Mrs. Harrier,
Mr. Harrier, and the killer Falcon chasing them from other pond to this creek.

Here are some of my favorite shots taken with 1D4 + 500F4 Mark 1 + 1.4x III TC handheld.

I did not know what to expect when I clicked the link... got to say, what a pleasant surprise! Who knew coots had such elegance in their flight. As usual, your work is stunning... the 2nd and final two images are my favorites in your series.

These are knockouts, Tam. The only coots I see flying are in eagles talons.
