In preparation for going to Bosque again this year I've been going back through my past images from there for the past few years. I always find it interesting to go back through images from a location that I plan on visiting again, it's like visiting there all over again, and I can plan on what type of shots I want to try and get on my next visit.
Here's a few from past years at Bosque Del Apache.
Super shots, Louie, especially #1. That is a good idea to do that. I should do it more often. I know it makes me think and plan, usually get better results. Have a good trip. Enjoy the new lens.

A pleasant run of tones in these Louie and the accents of the reds are wonderful!
You had some interesting visitor looking for your attention
#2 has a bit of oddities in the PP around the head and eye area and a rather distinct line along the neck and back
The others are very solid and beautiful, nice set!

Thank you Karl, appreciate your input. As to the oddities on #2, I think that what you're seeing is the affect of my over sharpening. I'll have another look at the image and see what can be done.
