Now if you had another pano at 6-8 secs instead of 13 secs I think 6-8 would have been fine to smooth the water out enough since it's running very fast.
I've promised myself I'll start taking shots of running water/waterfall shots at a few secs both +/- now since I inevitably seem to run the clock for too long or not enough !
Hi Kevin, thank you. Just to clarify, the shutter speed was not 13 seconds it was 1/10th of a second and was shot at f/13. A 13 second shutter would have made the water smooth and featureless. I find 1/10th second to a be good speed for fast moving water. At least to achieve the amount of motion blur I like.
