All great shots Klaus. Your Milky Way is great and to me it is not overprocessed. What many folks do not realize is that when you are using a tracking mount the camera picks up an incredible amount of detail compared to a tripod only shot. The colors in your Milky Way appear natural, it should be a lightish orange. Did you do any curves or brightness layers on this? My only suggestion would be to tone down the foreground brightness.
Matt,
Thanks and people do not realize this is how it looks.
The foreground is a bit bright on my post here but darker it didn't look right. Hard to find a happy medium lol
Thanks again!

Klaus, I really like the one in fog, and IR shots, especially the last one.
As about #1, I recall from the explanation on a FB that it was blended from exposures taken not only at different time but also at two different spots. So even if it is beautiful, I consider it to be a digital art rather than landscape photo.
Sasha.
Well gosh... that whole "blended exposures" thing diminishes the image greatly doesn't it? That pesky digital art nonsense polluting a proper landscape photography forum... Klaus why do you inflict these things upon us?
This is a fantastic set Klaus, regardless of whether it's "digital art" or "landscape photography."
WOW ! I looked at all the pictures before noting who posted these.
The first person who came to mind was........ you guessed it !
Always great images Klaus ! Keep them coming

Indeed. It's a horrible thing to post blended images as real landscape. If only the camera could see as our eye does lol

Mark,
Thanks and the same for me. There are so many good comps out there just waiting for the right light. One of the most amazing half square miles in the desert southwest.
It was great to finally meet you as well. Perhaps we will run into each other again out there.
Success to you as well!
