Let's go Cubbies! I grew up in the Chicago 'burbs, and am holding out hope they advance to the World Series. Would be crazy!
So to drum up positive mojo, I'm posting some images of young Coastal Brown Bears from Lake Clark NP in Alaska. We visited Alaska for 2 weeks in July, and this stop was one the highlights of a great vacation.
5, 8 and 9 are dealing imags Jim and the entire set is excellent.
While I understand how long you have been waiting for the Cubs to win the series and while I'm a Yankee fan, I live a mile from City field and am enjoying New York's other team doing well.
When I left to type, it was 3-0 with Cubs down...long way to go...but your cubs are real winners regardless of the outcome. Many super shots I would be proud to call my own.

Thanks for the picks, Birdie. I fear the baseball Cubs are off to a rough start.

Citi Field was rocking, and the Mets are looking tough. Thanks for the comment and picks, Morris.

#5 #8 #9 just to mention a few standouts
You could post a little larger Jim on your images to appreciate even more
Karl
Thanks Karl. The larger images didn't look as good on my Macbook Pro...but I may have to try it again. There's been this weird thing that images that look fine on Flickr look softer when linked to FM, at least on my monitor. Can't quite figure it out.

Wonderful set...so many nice shots, but love that mud-caked look in #3, but there really isn't one I'd say I like over the others.
I appreciate the comment, Scott. That cub in #3 was hilarious to watch digging for razor clams. Glad you liked them.
