I've been out of it for a while. There was a month or so where I didn't even pick up my camera. But the weather has been so warm around here the past few months, some of my friends have been requesting beach shoots. So here are a few I wanted to share. Thanks for looking!

thats what i figured but just wanted to confirm! it almost looks like you apply a softening filter or reducing the clarity slider on the back ground layer but leaving detail in the subject for pop. love that look what ever it is. gives a nice dreamy colorful feel.
They are really nice shots. I like the lighting.
With the Rovelight what type of modifier are you using? And are you happy with that system? I am new to this taking classes and was thinking of buying one of those.

So far I love it Steve. I use the YongNou triggers with it to enable high speed sync. Plus, I love not lugging around a separate battery, no cords dangling. I used a Phottix 27 inch foldable beauty dish. So from the 'Bees, I am not lugging around the 22 inch metal beauty dish, plus no mini lithium to carry too!
They are stunning in terms of 3D quality but leave with with a sense of artificiality. Too much of a special effects feel for me but I am clearly in a minority of one.

Always look forward to your posts. They all look great, but 1 and 6 does it for me.
Thanks Vex!

Thanks Brev, it's cool. I know this stuff is subjective. Some people absolutely hate my work, but u just have to keep going, right?
