two weeks ago I was in the Dolomites, one of the most impressive mountains in Europe are located there. Ofc I've been at the famous Tre Cime di Lavaredo. I'd like to show you my favourite shot of this trip:

Hi Zeph,
thanks for your reply. I'm glad you like the comp and the sun star. The movement is ofc personal taste. I wanted to capture it because the clouds were moving really fast this evening. Could you please tell me where you see any color banding? I don't see any so I don't know why its distracting you.
Viewing your image previously on my laptop, in the top center where the cloud goes from white to dark gray there was a pinkesh band where the tones transitioned, it's an old and over worked machine and I'm not seeing this effect on my tablet, my apologies, I miss spoke.
The dramatic motion of clouds swirling around those peeks must have been exhilarating and your image reinforces my desire to visit someday.
This is a pretty cool shot you got. Nice clouds, you worked the sun nicely too. It has a little bit of an odd feel though as the right side feels like it had one of those glow actions run on it, while the left side is nice and sharp. Not sure if that's intentional, I am thinking if the right side was sharp too it could raise the image up a notch more.
