Great image for this assignment Jeff...so how did you get this shot?! Was this a drive-by, or were you standing on the opposite side of the road? Very nicely framed in either case, but I'm surprised you didn't draw his attention (and that's a good thing). Good luck!

Thanks Jon! I was on the opposite side of the road. Unfortunately he wasn't racing off to some crazy scene, but merely was a convoy member for a bike race that was just in town. I was practicing some panning shots and happened to grab this one as he went by.

Hopefully it doesn't deflate the shot for ya.
Jeff No, the image still stands on its own! Thanks for the context.
I never even made the connection Jeff. Nice shot and great take for the assignment!
The panning adds a nice dynamic feel with that cool blurred BG but I also like how you snapped the shot just as he yanked the clutch in to upshift from 3rd to 4th gear.
Nice timing!
Oh, and you need to do the Krammer thing and tell people he was in hot pursuit of some armed bank robbers or sumthin. It would make their "visual" trip more exciting.

Thanks for the feedback, Dave!
Would have been really awesome if he were on the tail of some criminals trying to make a getaway!
