Wow.. what a great capture, Birdie. I love GBH fishing very much. Too bad, this GBH may be a rookie so it was empty stomach on that day.
-Tam
I love watching them too Tam. They can stand still so long , just waiting for the right moment.

Very nice set, Birdie. The Sunset shot is really beautiful. Looks like Dauphin Island.
Socrate
Thanks Socrate, yep Dauphin Island on the west end bay side. We haven't been here in a couple of years . I do really enjoy it here.

Yes, just when it looks like dinner is in the bag....poof....it's gone. The gbh's are wonderful and the sunset is sublime.
BTW, if you are a football fan you would recognize those agonizing drops and the boos that cascade from the hometown fans....hopefully you respectfully just shook your head in disappointment
Eric
I didn't boo him He was really fun to watch.

That was one lucky fish. Well done, Birdie.
Whoa! I have never seen one of them lose their prey. Once an animal is unfortunate to end up in the GBH bill, it's over. I've not seen a GBH let one get airborne as it positions it to be swallowed head first. They always re-position the fish gradually…. in increments. Well, not always I guess. What a lucky fish. Good work Birdie
