Beautiful image Carolyn! I have been aiming for a foggy morning image myself, but I missed what appears to have been the only one I'll have a shot at which was last Thursday.
BTW, I love how you processed this, but I notice some pink blotches in your image. It could be my monitor, but it appears across the lower to mid skyline. Does anyone else see this? In any case, good luck...it definitely suites this assignment.

Hi Jon, Yes, the pink if from sunrise and you see it in the reflection of the water. I pushed the color in the trees to make it more fall like. Fog is part of the wetlands sunrise.

Okay...I do think it's the way it shows on my (non-calibtrated) monitor, but overall it's a beautiful image. It would look great printed on some nice watercolor paper!
I find this to be loaded with feeling, with something that makes you be a certain way for a moment. Very powerful, I got right away the feeling of your foggy morning.
