Thank you all guys for stopping by and your kind comments. Much appreciated.
@ Corey - I had good luck with the weather in Grundarfjörður, a nice sunset and calms.

Three great photographs. I really like #1 for the mood it inspires. But, #3 reminds me of a Martian landscape I've seen on some of the rover's photographs (minus the water).
Dirk, as I was scrolling down on #1..I was thinking what a stark looking landscape then BAM...the horse! Wow what a contrast in color and setting! Then the rest...just plain fine photography!

All are great images. The horse really makes the first shot an incredible image. Forgive me for asking, but was the horse there naturally, or did you arrange to have the horse there for the shoot? When I see such great images I wonder if these were in the artist's mind and they create the scene, or if it is just being somewhere at the right time. Really a beautiful scene.
Love #1 & #3, wonderful shots. Love the Kirkjufell shot but the horse on the black sands is superb, I didn't see a single horse on any of the beaches whilst I was there.
#1 - I feel you've brought the highlights in the horse out too much, it makes it seem a tad superimposed and I'd back that off a tad (just a tad) !
Such nice comments, everyone. Thank you so much.
@ Bill - there were several horses, they probably broke out from a nearby farmstead and we could observe how the owners tried to catch them again. Their trouble - my luck
