These shots are money. People wait years for conditions like these (heavy snow in very early season so there is zero ice on the lake, with perfect color). With less snow the landscape does not look nearly as good. Same thing goes for Moraine Lake in Banff (wonder how it was this same day!?).
Travis Rhoads: Glad you like 1. It was a great day. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
Ed Swift: Lake Ohara is a fantastic place. If you go, Opabum Basin is my first choice. But if you are strong hiker and not afraid of heights - Oesa and then across the high trail to Opabum and down. Have fun. Glad you like 1. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
Keaty: The pictures were fun to take. Glad you like 1,3. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
Sneakyracer: It was a fantastic day. The color and the snow were fantastic. Glad you like them. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott

Beautiful images. One more place is added to my list.
If you go, go to the campground - and stay at least 3 days. One day for Opabum which I think is the best spot around Lake Ohara and one day for Oesa Lake and the highline ridge, and one day to Lake McCaurther. And go after 1st week in September to get changing larch.
Glad you like the images. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
Great images Scott...I hiked that as a kid but don't remember it all that much. You should post those in the Canon Winter 2015/16 thread... It is need of an update
