Beautiful image Jonas! The colors and light (and the horse!) are simply gorgeous. For my taste, while maintaining the cropping format, I would bring the right corner down and in (taking off about 10-15% of the top and right edge) so that there isn't quite so much empty sky above the horse. This would also bring the horse more into focus as the main element...just my opinion.

I think you might be right about the crop. The horse would be better composed in the frame and the lines in the sky on the left would be better in leading into frame.
Lovely image! The light, colors, and of course the wonderful Icelandic horse are just great. Makes me excited get back there again next summer (I missed it this year, so sad).
