p.1 #1 · Salina's Vintage Style PhotoShoot on Guam
This is my set with Salina, her first time modeling, I think she did great! All shot with a Nikon D4S, and Nikon 85 1.4G, all shots are wide open at F/1.4. Some might be confused we wanted to do a vintage style color edit to the photos and video, but not necessarily vintage.. vintages as in the theme, hope this doesn't confuse anyone. 6th Pic, is HDR 5 Shots.
We also did a BTS video, it was my first time filming and editing:

Hi J, I LOVE #5. Wonderful pose, lighting, exposure, position of the sun. Yep.
On the first 4, it looks like Salina is simply standing in a pose that looks right. The challenge is there is no "tension" in her body, and it shows as "flat" rather than a dynamic image. Hope that's coming out right, and it's an easy enough thing to fix -- have her move around and catch her in the act of moving, and keep practicing with her!
p.1 #4 · Salina's Vintage Style PhotoShoot on Guam
I like all the images, and the processing fits her and the mood of the shoot. Pretty model. The BTS video however is pretty useless from my perspective. I'd like to see a wider view of the locations, lighting used, assistants holding reflectors etc. Maybe it was all just you and the model nothing else but I don't get a sense of any of the nuts and bolts of the shoot from the video.

Thanks for the advice will try that, and losses the model up next time so the images won't be that flat

Yes your right, will try to include the environment next time. It was myself, the model, and another photographer, I was holding the reflector so it was hard for me to film at the same time.

You did a great job getting sharp pictures wide open! It's really challenging (for me that is, particularly with the 85 1.4)
