Good take on the theme Jeff.
The module above looks nothing like the first 1-Meg ram module I paid $250 for, in 1992.
Best of luck this week.

Brings back memories Jeff! Like Greg, I can remember spending a small fortune to upgrade my IBM PS1 from 1MB to 2MB of Ram. And don't get me started on the 170MB hard drive

Good one!

Thanks Greg! That's *just* an 8GB stick of memory from a server.

I grew up with an Apple ][, so I've been through a lot.

Thanks Greg! When I was a freshman in college back in '98 my parents bought me a new computer. 64MB of RAM, an 8MB video card and a 10GB harddrive.

I felt like a god.

Oh stop, you guys are breaking my heart. You all were in NASA territory compared to the VIC 20 I had.

5 KB of RAM. Yes that's KILOBYTES with a "K". Ok, you can add another 16 or so for ROM. Now we're flyin'.
And a hard drive? If you consider a cassette tape player a hard drive then yeah...I had one.

And yes I did have to walk 3 miles each way to school in the snow. And YES it was uphill BOTH WAYS!!!
