A couple weeks ago I spent 4 days roaming around the state of Washington. Here are some shots. The telephoto shots were taken with a Canon 100-400L II with 1.4xIII.

Very cool shots all around. My favorites would be #4 and 5. It sure sounds like you had a fun time on your wandering. I was thinking of doing the same thing next year timing it to coincide with the Palouse.
