Came across this and posted it in Alt. Thought it should have its own thread though.
Prolost Dehaze for Lightroom 6.1 A series of presets that give you access to the new Dehaze control added in Lightroom 2015.1, without requiring a Creative Cloud subscription.

Hey, I agree...use a cpl. I'm just sharing the love. But this appears to be one of the biggest topics in regards to regular LR vs CC version.
I actually came across this whilst looking for an add-in dehazing preset, to compare to the LR CC dehaze, for a couple guys in the Alt forum. Then I saw it mentioned quite a few times throughout the forums that people were upset it was only available in the CC version.
I can't compare them, as I'm not done building my new "Lightroom/processing only" computer (laptop is only 32bit, so no LR6 on it). But this preset appears to be 19 presets, including 0.

You apparently don't live in a densely populated area. Cities like L.A. and many others haze from pollution is the norm that I doubt filters are going to fix.

I'm using windows 7 and LR6.1 and it worked seamlessly. It has to be LR6.1 though
Dehaze isn't just an alternative to polarizers, it can be useful of all sorts of subjects, portraits even
Thanks for the info. I was curious if it had to be a certain version. Once I get the new computer up and running, Ill see if theres a way to modify it for use in LR5.
