Submerged by the on coming tide, I was mesmerized by the glow of the setting sun on the marine layer.
As the sun set, I had picked a composition around some high clouds. Just as I turned to the side I saw this bright burning ball light up the marine layer. I have been told it is quite a rare occurrence. The furious burn along with the crashing fury of the waves, brings Furiosa (I watched the new Mad Max and I love the name of the character).
Techy Stuff: I blended 4 shots. 1 for the sky, 1 for the rocks, 2 for the water. Shot with Canon 5D MK II /w 16-35 F4 IS L at 16mm. Processed with Adobe CC /w TK Actions. I probably could've just blended 3 but the rocks weren't as clean in one of the frames I had chosen after raising some shadows details, so I decided to use another file with a brighter exposure.
