I think the night/stars shot is my favorite here. The exposure and processing is exceptionally well done. The stars are a balanced part of the image without being overpowering, and the Magellanic Cloud is the icing on the cake!
These images are fantastic Gregg. You've done a great job showcasing how wild the natural elements there are. I love the movement in the wind captured, especially on the highlights of the water it's blowing on. Great stuff!

I really like them all! The wind whippin on #2 is pretty sweet. Love the night time image, and that's rare for me. I do wish the bit of flare wasn't there, though. The last image is so nice too ... the waves and windblown particles. Man, so very nice!
Hey Chris.
Could you please let me know where do you see the flare? There's no flare as far as I'm concerned but maybe I missed something?

No hike at all John. I just zoomed in with my 200mm lens and used 1.4 TC so what you see is an image taken at just 280mm. The road I was standing on to take this shot is close to the mountain. Here is the road with some guanacos.
Not the best image but it gives you some idea how close is the mountain.
Oh yeah, that is close. From the angle, I though you were shooting down on the Cuernos, from one of the nearby ranges, which would have been a fair amount of work. Guess not...but in any event, nice shot!
