That is an amazing shot! Thank you for sharing. I have taken a couple of thousand Grand Canyon shots and am still trying for one I really like. It's not as easy as one would think.

Excellent Ben!
Thank you very much, this is your territory and that means a lot.
Lovely shot Ben. The light is sweet and the clouds in the right spot to make it all come together.
I was there a couple of weeks ago - mostly a family trip - and encountered all sorts of weather from rain, snow and high winds to cloudless sky and upper 70s.

Thanks Bob.

This was taken Monday morning after spending the night here in light rain. But Monday night the rains started and Tuesday I went home.
I do so much photo editing, that it's hard for me to look at any photo without seeing *something* small that I'd like to tweak. Sometimes even in real life, I'll look at a landscape and feel the horizon could stand a 1/2' of rotation.
But here, everything* is perfect: your vantage point, exposure, dynamic range, crop, treatment of the sky (near and far), etc. etc.
* I thought I found one thing, but it turned out to be a bit of lint on my monitor. Perfect.
