This is just another random share of bits and pieces of what I've been up to the past month or so! We have had such an amazing spring this year - more flowers than I've EVER seen in this area thanks to the wet winter we had. Flowers and fall colors are some of my very favorite things to incorporate in my portraits and have become somewhat of a trademark of my work as I use them as often as I'm able to.
These first images are my own kiddos...

These next images are of Jillien, who I've had the pleasure of photographing three times now in the past 2 years. She's always a lot of fun.

This is an old favorite that I reworked. It's one of those images that I come back to every so often with fresh eyes and new skills and re-edit. It was taken during a family session in 2011 and is still, to this day, a favorite.

AND because I'm already being super random, I wanted to share a few more images from Dustin Ackley's newborn session. I don't do a lot of newborns but really had fun doing this shoot.
Your work is inspirational! You truly have a gift. Did you use a flash on these? You had some beautiful light in the first ones. Looking at the exif it looks like they were early morning shots rather than evening.
Great work Lisa.
There are many photographers who can create incredible portraits by bringing light, pose, and composition together. Your use of color sets you apart. Your color choices and ability to enhance the right colors, in the right measure, is brilliant.
Thanks for sharing.

@eorlando - the efix must be off because I am definitely not a morning person. lol These were all late afternoon/evening shots. They were all taken with natural light as well (no flash).
Lisa, your photography continues to amaze me! Just excellant work! Your compositional technique is par excellance!
The display of your subjects compliments the entire framed image..corner to corner....
The images just pop and the sharpness is amazing!!!! Almost 3D....
Great work!

Nice work, in particular like the B&W treatment in #21 & #22. Have a hard time getting that glowing silver sheen when working with digital. Can get it in darkroom prints and it's one of the qualities I like in B&W, but so far have not been able to reproduce the look in digital B&W.
