Was a pretty spectacular sight. I knew it was forecasted to be fairly strong so I dragged out the girlfriend to witness her first aurora and it did not disappoint!
Frank Lake is a restored wetland area approx. 50km south of Calgary, and is really significant for the bird populations here. It was interesting to hear such noise at night and not be able to see anything.
That is sure really cool looking! What an awesome view that is. I would only suggest to remove the magenta that is in the foreground grasses.

Thanks Jim. I did try to desaturate the foreground there as I was getting substantial noise when boosting the shadows on it. I'll have to try it some more
