I'm selling all my Canon gear and didnt want to pull out my canon body and macro lens.... mainly because I know my luck and if I put one more click on my 60D It will implode and crumble in my hands. So, I used my a6000 and a7 with my 55mm and cropped the crap out of it.

Thank you! Given the near two feet of focal distance I think it came out well. Can't get much larger than it is right now though.

I almost took a similar picture

An extension tube does wonders to reduce minimum focus distance, if you have one.

Very nice shot for this assignment! As an avid cyclist, I also appreciate the fact that you use an 11 tooth cog and that your cluster is so clean!
