Better than your first shot in two ways, IMO. Both eyes are showing and I think the expression is more pleasing. Both comments are merely opinion, of course.
Thank you, Jim! I appreciate your comments and am glad you like this. I would say that both photos serve different purposes. I think the other is meant to be a bit unsettling - hence the title "Mystique". This one is much more of a portrait. If it is a portrait one is after, then, you are right on all counts.
All best wishes,
Endre

This is a beautiful photo Endre.
I really like everything you post. Here and on the other forums as well. What I like is the simplicity of your compositions. They are never busy. The colors are always pleasing and the textures add to the overall effect. I think that is why they are also pleasing in black and white.
Well done.
Beautiful image of your beautiful daughter. Love the lighting. The scarf really adds a lot of beautiful color and texture to coordinate with the lipstick. Very nice skin tones.
I agree with Jim, I like this one much better than the first as well.
Thank you, Greg! I am so glad you like this and I very much appreciate your very kind and thoughtful remarks about my work.
All the best,
Endre

Well done....everything comes together so nicely in your image. Great work! TFS
I like both versions but the color version seems a bit more intriguing to me.

Thanks so much, Tree! I appreciate your very kind comments and am really glad you like the image. I agree, the striking red has a lot of impact and it matches the color of her lips well.
All the best,
Endre
