I really enjoyed my walk in the park today looking for an unusual perspective shot. It was interesting to discover that nature was far more difficult for me to see this way than man-made things were. Great assignment!
I've been back to this one several times, and it just gets better.
The balance of the shot, is really cool, the DOF, the highlights on the upper bars.
All of it really comes together well.
The key for me when looking at a WA or MA shot is whether or not the shot would stand if it were not done as an "assignment"...if it were taken out of the context of "peace" or "unusual perspective" etc. This image is great on it's own.
