So, to my surprise I seem to be having issues with the A7II and the aperture dial.
If I set the camera to manual, I can change the aperture with the rear dial but when I turn the front dial, it only changes shutter speed between two adjacent values.
If I customize the dial functions and reverse the dials, I can change the shutter speed with the rear dial but only change two aperture values with the front dial.
I suspected the dial was bad, but it actually changes values. Just two. I cannot scroll through the entire range.
Has anyone experienced this ? Am I missing something here ?
Thanks

I have the same issue on my Sony A7. In my case it happened after using the camera in very wet/rainy conditions.
I haven't sent the camera in for repair because of very long service times + I'm pretty certain they will claim "water damage".
It sounds similar to what happened on my a99. I hate the dials on the a7II. They remind me too much of my a99's. If I would roll it too fast (say, switching from f/1.4 to f/8), it would skip all over. Ilove the a7/r/s dials.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is the only solution to send it into Precision? My A7ii is no longer under warranty, but I am open to either trying to fix it myself, or sending it to a (recommended) repair shop that isn't Precision. Any ideas or input?
