Great action and detail but since this is the new and improved critique FM I have to say what others have failed to mention, there is a quite a bit of noise on the eagles

How can you have great detail and quite a bit of noise in the same image Ted ?

First you don't like picks, now your Mr. Critique spokesperson.

Thanks Tedster. I'll take the noise any day in a shot like this. While everyone else went home, I was the only bird getting the action that day. As my mark IV doesn't do well at iso 2500, I'd still rather try anyways at shots like this then stay home watching the boob.

I think you missed the point Ted. The thread was supposed to highlight the tenacity of the eagle, and it's uncanny will to fight to the death for it's nesting area. I was actually promoting the video, but I added a single image to make it legal here.

I was quite surprised that you missed out on the whole gist of the thread, knowing you are an eagle lover yourself.

I hope you stay on for awhile buddy.
