My favorite novel since high school days in 1949 is "Green Mansions," by W. H. Hudson. It features a young woman who floats through the forest with greatest of ease. The photo of the young girl in the Hoh Rainforest reminds me of I've always imagined she might look like. Thanks for sharing! Great photos.

Absolutely lovely. Just love your image tonality and processing.

With a daughter graduating in a year+, I need to really study your photography for her pictures.

They sure do grow up fast, in retrospect.

Beautiful children and fantastic use of light. Love the colors and how slick they are without feeling overprocessed. #3 is the only exception with regard to processing. It looks like the eyelashes were painted in in Photoshop.

Thank you! These are all natural light (as is 99.9% of my other work).

Thanks! You were right RE the lashes. I reconsidered that and went back and got rid of them. Looks much better without.

Thanks! Just an interesting tidbit on that particular photo - it is cropped in to about 1/10th of the original RAW file. It was taken with my old 5D Mark II. I'm amazed at the resolution even with such a drastic crop!

I always hate it when you upload a post.

It means I will again be amazed by your skill & talent and will spend too much non-productive time marveling at your work.

In addition, my wallet always quivers because every time I talk myself out of the 200mm f/2, you pull me back in with your work!

I added one more. More of a moody, less 'pretty' edit (aka I left the crazy wind blown hair and chipped nail polish and went for a darker edit). Sorry for the continual updates/editions - I just didn't feel they warranted their own thread, so I'm shoving them in here.

Love latest b&w images. Fantastic contrast on those. I was voting in the shoot and share contest on Facebook and so many images had children holding an animal like a bunny or chicken in the same manner as your original chicken boy picture. All I could think when I saw those... Holloway, Holloway lol
