Wowser! I have been surfing the Landscape forum for about 40 minutes. This is the most awesome set I've seen. I like both images, but the 2nd is my favorite for the lower angle, and for what appears to be more 'realistic' light, even though the 1st image according to your posted screen settings is also realistic as well. Sometimes the real shot is SO dramatic you have to tone it down a bit to get viewers to believe it could be real. Perhaps #1 is a shot like that.
You certainly caught some perfect lighting! Did you have to use any HDR or were you able to capture single frames for these?
In any case, just phenomenal, both of them. Will have to try to make it to that location someday...
#2 really stands out to me. Beautiful shot. Was this the year for the bubble motif or what? I can not believe how popular that was this year.
I agree with the saturation on the first. I would duplicate a layer in PS, put it in Color mode and drop that by at least 10 pts. I think it would still look saturated and be just as, if not more impressive.
The second shot is a stunner with the light on the mountains and the golden reflections. I love the colour of the first, but I find the line running through the foreground distracts from the bubbles. Also I find the landscape orientation shows all the bubbly goodness to greater effect.
