Just got back from a photo safari in the Rockies, last year I was there around February and was late to capture the famous methane bubbles of Abraham lake.
This year it was favorable and was able to capture it with good light.
Yes, you were extremely lucky being there at the right time. Those pictures you posted were taken on the 20th and 21st.
I went to the area on the 24th and stayed there until 26th and the weather was so warm, there was no way I could stand on the surface of the lake, except one place where people made so much tire tracks all over the place, which was also very sluggish the day I left. Your images are great, a little bit too saturated to my taste though. Thanks for sharing.
