How do I say this?..sometimes there Can be too much of a good thing. In my opinion in most of these images the subjects get lost in all that color. I also think that the subject in a portrait should the center of interest, not the case in most of these. I like #8 the best as a portrait. Just my personal opinion.

Thanks Bob, I appreciate your point of view and I get what you're saying. It's not the first time I've been told, but alas, that is my style. I like to include the surroundings in my photos because I want the people I take pics of to remember how awesome it was that day. Otherwise, I would just take pics in my backyard and do a really tight crop. I do always take closer shots but unfortunately we are limited to 8 images here. Thanks!
