Gorgeous - with the double bonus of a magical sky to match up with this magical location!
Dave
Dave, thank you. The original plan was to shoot stars, but it did not work well. So I guess these colors were a sweet reward for sticking out on a windy cliff.

Lovely colors. Well done!
Haven't been down there since 2005, makes me want to go back.
Roger
Roger, thanks. There was a major flood in 2008, so now it looks different than in 2005. But I bet campground is much nicer now.

This is just a beautiful take on a beautiful location. I can't say there is anything original about the composition but the lighting and processing make it stand out as one of the best photos I've seen from Havasu. Great job. Looks awesome.
Gordon, thank you, it is very nice to hear that you like the processing.

So it means I translated my exact feeling when I saw the place! Thanks!

Thanks! This is a true gem, and very much worth the effort of getting there!

Great image! Almost looks like a large format shot. I think my only suggestion would be to brighten up the whites in the waterfall just the tiniest bit. It looks quite realistic given the light, but I think it might help. The composition is really straight forward but certainly calming and pleasing to look at. Nice!

Thats what I noticed also, the whites of the waterfall need to be lighten up a smigen.
Beautiful composition, colors and metering.. I am sure it will be hanging on your wall in your home..
Hi Sasha,
I am so happy for you, but very envious at the same time. I had to cancel my trip 1 year ago, due to bad back. Would love to go there one of these days. How is October/November for a trip there?
Nice shot! Very dramatic lighting. Love the hues of the water. Looks like the Cottonwoods are just starting to turn. The blend works very well - I was completely unaware until reading about it. Thanks!
