Took this image near the Hoh Forrest in Olympic National Park earlier this fall. Went to the forrest but didn't really get any images to be excited about. On the way back I ran into a lot of fog in a valley close by. Stopped and was able to make this image. Converted it to black and white and have been quite pleased with the result. Hope you like it too. Any comments, critiques, suggestions are welcomed.

Fantastic shot! the mood is great and it's nice to see some strong BW landscape shots recently. I am wondering if the composition and focus might be even stronger if you cropped out the ridge tree line/sky at the top right. It would only be a suggestion and not really a critique as I think this image is already superb.

Very nice capture, love the atmosphere. B&W works great in this image.
I agree with another follow photographer's suggestion to crop out the upper right ridge.

Thanks for all of the comments and suggestions. I think the idea of cropping out the upper right corner of the image may improve it. I will play with that and see what happens.
A couple of members suggested cropping the original image to eliminate the sky in the upper right portion of the image. Here is a crop of the original that does that. I like it, but I like the original also.
Always good to look at several options to decide which version my be preferred.

Though the tree line in the original presentation is in what I might normally think an odd location to be a positive element for the image, it seems to do exactly that in this one. Though I like the redo as well, the original seems to have a bit more sense of scale to it with the treeline.
