Hi guys! I've been enjoying shooting the beautiful fall colors here in Arizona and my own children since going on indefinite client hiatus. I wanted to share a few I've gotten so far this fall season. I've been forcing some of my kids who are more camera shy to get in front of the camera also - I still have a few to go. As you can probably gather from these photos, I much prefer a serious, thoughtful expression to a big cheezy grin. I have plenty of snapshots and images of my kids smiling, but when I do portraits that have the potential of becoming wall art, the serious looks ALWAYS win in my eyes. Anyways, just sharing - hope you like them.

6 A rare landscape for me! I LOVE aspen trees!
7 My 7 year old son, Quentin (or Dewey as we more commonly call him...long story)
8 My 11 year old son, Theron
9 My 16 month old son, Gabriel
10 One more of Gabriel...he wasn't feeling well here and wasn't even the intended subject of this outing, but I caught this of him as the sun was going in and out of the clouds on our way down to Oak Creek. I loved his eyes and pouty little look here.
By the way, where do you live in Arizona? I was born and raised in Globe (i.e. not the desert), and I never experienced autumn until I moved to North Carolina.
As always, amazing pictures Lisa. I've been away for a bit. It seems a lot of people have disappeared...but you, friscoron, and a few pioneers are still hanging around to show what a great forum this is.
Beautiful images! I especially like the 2nd and 3rd images. As others have said, I think I would prefer some without the leaf as a prop, but I still think they look great!
