Thank you. It is great to have a lens that you can handhold at 900mm! This is not the best shot but I would not have even attempted this with my 500mm and TC as I would not have had it with me

Pretty nice, Mark.
If not at 600, it wouldn't have been possible to get this funny looking image. What are the bunnies are waiting for? Wait until it's too late to run away from the coyote? Great capture.

How do you like your D7200?

Thanks Steve. It is a strange shot not least because the rabbits are not that concerned by his presence. Perhaps the fox wasn't hungry or they sensed that he was too old to give chase? Who knows.

The D7200 works well with the Tamron. I haven't given it a great deal of use but so far I am enjoying the lighter weight of the camera. The AF is as good as my 800 and D4 and the buffer has presented no problems at all. In conjunction with the Tamron or the 80-400 G it does make for a very portable wildlife setup. I have also purchased a Black Radpid Sport strap which also makes lugging the gear around a breeze.

Which body did you use for these shots, I an selling my 200-400 later in the year simply because of the 3.5kg weight , I shoot motorsport and was thinking of the 80-400 on a crop body or the sigma 150-600 on either full frame or crop, great shots by the way there are very few examples of the cars I like to shoot, you nailed it with the slow shutter speeds.

Took the Tammy to a local air show yesterday at the Nevada County Air Fest in Grass Valley CA. It was my first time there. I didn't know that a simple 70-200mm zoom would have sufficed as a great majority of my shots were at the short end. Regardless, the lens performed admirably! Will take a "shorter" and lighter lens next year.

This seems a great lens but sadly I had AF issues with the D750 and it kept freezing so it's going back, I might try again in future though!

No one shoots with the Tamonster anymore ?

No AF fine tune needed on both my D800 and D4s.
