Excellent job with the low angle shot Karl. I don't have any red breasted mergansers looking this good in my closet. I would have hoped for a little more head turn, but it's a super fine image worthy of a large print.

Many thanks to all that have viewed and commented. This was a rewarding day out last Winter and hopefully I'll work some more up at a later date more appropriate for the freeze that is coming

Hey folks thanks for the kind words here! It was a great day to be on the ice along the shore of Lake Erie, not too often we get that much sun to help and I got lucky with having the right day off work for a change
