p.3 #1 · Searing Setting Sunlight

Thanks again everyone!

I definitely had a small window of light and good luck as the light flooded through!

I went back last night and can say the trees are now bare, and the color is put away for another year... Now it's dull and cold looking, with some gold and reds showing, but not much.

Wow what a stunner. It's always amazing how nature always seems very organized. The trees all look like there are some predetermined patterns in it's growth.

Hey Craig,

I am still really enjoying this shot. It's nice to see an image masterfully captured and processed. It's images like this one that can get captured when one actually stops and takes the time to study photography, learn how to shoot, learn how to use their camera and what even the basic adjustments affect in a capture. With the advent of the DSLR too many people think it is all magic, and all that is needed is to press the shutter button, sadly too many never grasp the amount of work, effort and skill that goes into a great capture like this.

Keep it up!

Jim
