Great captures Christo. My guess says that the first one is Norris Gyser
and the last two are in/near Old Faithful. I like the last 2 more - looks
very tranquil with the Bison and amazing color of water in the last one.
Ever thought of making the 2nd one a BW. Just curious. If you have the time
and if you are curious you could post the BW version of the 2nd one.

Hope to see more of Yellowstone.

Hrishikesh: That's an almost perfect guess! Actually all of those were taken near Old Faithful.
I wasn't thinking of the second one for a BW candidate, but that was a good suggestion. Please let me know what you think.
Thanks a lot for your input, it is much appreciated.

The 17-40 is definitely a lens I would recommend to any photographer.
It gets better and better with time.

Thanks for your comments.

Christo,

Wonderful shots and the exposures are spot on. Can't wait to get back to Yellowstone!

Hi Chris,

I think I like the BW version more I feel it creates more impact
as attention is drawn to the 2 bison in the foreground and the white
fluffy clouds and open space give a lot of depth to the image.

My .02 cents. This image I feel captures the essence of Yellowstone.

Wish I could take such nice images.

Regards,
Hrishikesh
