Yesterday was an awesome hummingbird day. It’s like the hummers are going out like a lion Today it rained but my Rubies are still here as I saw him feed on his flowers!
My hummers that arrived beginning of the summer got nice and chubby and had pretty rubies coming in on their throats when they left. My second set of hummers are still very tiny. I am worried about their journey any day now. I hope they are strong enough for that many mile trip non-stop.
As you scroll to Pix 8 there is a big surprise .........
Here is today’s Ruby story:

I am on top of the world and love showing off to Mrs. Gardener. If I only had a camera to take her picture to show you all her utter excitement as she smiles photographing every step I take! I always hear her saying, “follow his eye!”

I am sending you all a big kiss for putting up with reading my new story!
I know you must be so tired of seeing me each week. I thank you all from the bottom of my little heart for reading my story!

She also adores me if you didn’t already realize this
It has been another fantastic day in my big flower garden and also even more wonderful that you all took the time to see me leap on my perch!
As I head to my nest to , all of you dear friends have a wonderful week!
I will be posting another story soon
Superb results BB. #6 is my fave image. The bird has really buried its beak into that flower. The kiss shot (lots of tongue) is also an eye grabber. Well done!

Nice set of hummers once again BB. The cardinal flower is very unique. The BGD's look like muslins, especially #1,2 and the last. I just noticed they are all of the same perch and cool brown toned BGD.
