I shot 1263. I culled 216 from my main camera last night and will probably have another 100 or so from my other camera. It was a really rough wedding for me.
I know it's somewhat of a controversial topic on here (having read a few threads) but my plan is to shoot more at my next wedding. My goal is 2000+. I just want to try it and see if I get better or worse results, or if it makes no difference at all.
2236 from me. 1138 from my 2nd photographer. Will cull down to 500-600 from me, 300ish from my 2nd.
Edit: I feel it may be necessary to say how long of day you shot. I know a lot of folks do 6 hour days, my minimum is usually around 10 hours. This day was 11.
For 8hrs, typically shoot around 2k (myself + second shooter), and are now delivering around 700. We used to deliver around 400. I don't imagine we'll go beyond delivering 700-ish. I really want to be more deliberate about every shot taken and work harder on planning compositions.
Last wedding, Simple 2nd wedding with only the home and the ceremony/ formals/ reception all at the same venue. Full bridal party 3+3. About 6 hours coverage, 400 ish pics, probably delivered about 380 or so. I only cull things like blinks and open mouths etc.
Typical wedding, 600 pics absoloute tops for a 12 hour or more job. Time dosen't make all that much difference to me unless I do Night shots after the reception. That may add 50 or so. I would be unlucky to edit any more than 50 shots ( probably not even that many ) from what I give the couple.
I pre layout the album before the couples come in and then just make whatever changes they request which typicaly is delete some pages and swap pics over on about 5-6 of them. I have no idea how many I put in the album now but the last big album I did was about 60.
