my crit would be #2. though the image is straight using other vertical lines but the horizontal line of the railing being off is bothersome.

great work otherwise!

In #1, she looks like she has to pee. Other than that, I really like them all.

These images are very well done, from the lighting, to location, to post production. #3 is a bit awkward in the posing and perspective (her looking back at the camera from the ground), but the rest are solid. Thank you for sharing! As mentioned earlier, you should definitely come out of retirement!

Interesting, I thought it was the best of the set.

Thanks for the compliment. I think actually, there aren't any straight lines in it at all. The building is a historical building and settling very badly. I worked to get some of the lines as straight as they are. I don't even know how they got that handicap ramp through inspection and feel bad for the folks trying to navigate it.

Trenchmonkey, that was the parents' favorite shot as well, they bought a gallery block of it.

Thanks again everyone for looking and commenting.

Were you using off camera strobes or was this all natural light?

BostonGreg, the shots were taken with off camera flash. An SB-900 in a FourSquare soft box, triggered with RadioPoppers.

my only nit would be the tag on her hat in #3. my eyes are drawn away from hers to the tag.
beautiful girl, excellent photos, no wonder her mom had tears in her eyes while viewing.
enjoy the time with your family while taking a moment every now and then like this.

Thanks Lisa! Yes, it seems they go from tweens to 20 now a days, skipping a few years we used to go through.

Thanks for the comment Kenneth. I left it in, in case its one of THE brands you are supposed to wear if you are a teen. I should have asked and taken it out had it turned out to not be one of the popular brands. It does pull the viewer's eye from her eyes and face. Only having taken two senior seasons off, this and last summer's, I've found I've already lost track of what's all the rage with that age group.

These are VERY nice photos - I retired two years ago and have wasted my time photographing flowers and bugs!

I agree, she does look like she has to go...the problem is I may have serious issues, because that's the I one I like the most!

Really like them all, the last is exceptional!

Seriously? When he couldn't even get her feet in frame?

That's about as basic a screw-up as it's possible to commit - a real "schoolboy error".

frame!

Thanks for your comment Michael. Sorry the neon is distracting to you, to me it adds the urban flair we were shooting for.

Not quite sure why you can't see her feet in the frame, maybe I just don't quite understand your comment.

Thanks for the multiple comments, glad I wasn't the only one confused. Maybe its a browser or tablet issue, not scrolling all the way down?

No problem, this place is funny sometimes...first the model has no feet, then she has to pee. Good thing her legs wasn't cut off too, she'd have a hell of time peeing.
