Thunderstorms were predicted this particular afternoon and I was hoping to get a lighting strike over the rock formation. That didn't happen and this is what I came up with.
It looks little over saturated on IE but more natural on other browsers.
Let me know what you think. Appreciate it.

Harsha, Looks great, the lighting in the sky is extremely dramatic with great depth and just the right amount of contrast. It's a very moody shot nicely done. Regards,
Dean
As you mentioned it does feel over saturated even in my chrome browser. I think the sky is great and river. I kind of wish the foreground was a bit more exposed (maybe even some cool colors) with less saturation to really make those other too elements pop.
wow, Harsha! I love the sky lighting which connects to the foreground vegetation tip! Lovely.
I am looking forward to shooting spree(?) near Bend, OR in a month time.

It looks about right to me. I think the brightest of the clouds may have the red channel oversaturated, with the result that it looks a little flat. (Or it may be an out of gamut thing when converting to sRGB for the web.) I wonder if backing off that slightly might give ti some detail. Otherwise, I think the composition is great and the colors, while dramatic, are believable. Great shot.
Wow, what an image! It looks a bit under exposed to my eyes, but that may be the style that you are going for. Makes me what to get back down that way!

Harsha, if you told me this was a photo of a painting I wouldn't have batted an eye. Whether it is slightly over saturated or not this is a stunning image. There is such depth as the light played off the river.

Harsha, I've looked at this off and on through the day. At first I just wasn't making a connection with the color. Then suddenly it clicked a few moments ago, and it totally reminded me of a storm I was in once.
Fantastic. This photo has all the elements. Great composition, flow, colours, mood. Great job. I love watching storms passing by and this photo and this gives me the same feelings.
Wonderful image! harshaj1:
After shooting for forty years as a hobby, at least i can appreciate the time, effort and dedication that goes into producing results like this.
Spectacular, Harsha...wonderful composition; lightning could have been dramatic, but would also create a totally different mood--this seems to me more serene than stormy, in part because of the subject matter and in part because it is so warm.
I've looked at the image several times now on several different monitors...would be interested to try bumping the shadows up just a bit in the areas that promise richness of detail.
